Welcome to Revere, MA. Before you take a look around, let us situate you a little bit. youarehere is designed to be a community that will allow mature and dedicated players to house characters that have been otherwise abandoned by the role-playing world.

Not once, not twice have each of us suffered on the dying end of a game and have been stuck with an insistent voice that just won't go away, or anguished over the fact that our favorite storyline would eventually fade over not having a home to thrive in.

This community does not seek to be a solace to all of those disheartened by roleplay, but like any other player, we just want to play and have fun, which for some reason seems to be a lot to ask these days.

youarehere is much more about a personal attempt to cure our own maladies, than to try and save the roleplaying world from itself. This is not a place that will promise you anything. The mods are cynical, sarcastic and, let's face it, more than a bit lazy.

What you will have is consistency. Brutal honesty and low bullshit. No OOC drama, no Sues, no flaking out and no excuses. This is a community for the homeless. It is a place where there is only one rule and that is to play. This is a community based on writing, character interaction and the possibility to step outside of our own ordinary lives and do extraordinary things, if only in writing.
